What are Crime Codes

California law defines each crime according to a specific code section. The Penal Code defines the vast majority of the crimes. But the Vehicle Code addresses certain crimes involving cars, motor vehicles and driving. The Health & Safety Code addresses most crimes involving marijuana or narcotics. What does California Criminal Code 25100(B) Mean?

25100(B) Vehicle Over 80 Inches In Width Not Equipped Under 25100(A)
25100(B1) Truck tractors shall be equipped with at least one amber clearance lamp on each side on the front of the cab or sleeper and may be equipped with amber side-marker lamps on each side.
25100(B2) Truck tractors manufactured on or after January 1 1969 shall be equipped with one amber side-marker lamp on each side near the front.
25100(B3) Pole or pipe dollies - or logging dollies - shall be equipped with at least one combination clearance and side-marker lamp on each side showing red to the front / side / and rear.
25100(B4) Specific vehicles to be equipped with at least one amber clearance lamp and side marker lamp
25100(B5) Drive-away / Tow-away Towing Vehicle - One Amber Clearance Lamp Each Side
25100(B6) Drive-away / Tow-away Towed Vehicle - One Amber Side-Marker Each Side
